Well, once again the United States has to turn another scandal into major news as if we're not fighting a war. I'm sure everyone has found out about this whole situation one way or another.
It's a shame that something like this has to tear this "loving" family apart.
Now, I don't understand how your spouse can run around having various affairs while being one of the most famous people in the world, and you not know it, but somehow Tiger Woods found a way.
This would all be different if you had just one other woman. But no, Tiger, you had to act up and have multiple. And obviously you can't keep a woman, because not only is your wife leaving you due to all this madness, but you had to have pissed all your alleged mistresses off as well. A personal friend of mine has a connect to high class hotel where you were said to have been leaving at all times of the night, and getting high end prostitution.
They're popping up left and right on numerous television talk shows putting you on blast. WITH NO SHAME!! Either you pissed them off, or they just want their 15 minutes. Or both. Regardless, you acted up. This is only part of where you messed up, Mr. Woods.
You've got yourself some situations and this is where you messed up: You shouldn't have been cheating on your wife in the first place. Had you not done so, none of this would be happening. You are too well known for that kind of behavior. You are too grown for that kind of behavior. You have a wife, if it ain't working out, TELL HER. And most importantly, you have children. Think about the children, and how this whole situation is going to impact them for their entire lives. Did you think about them, Tiger? Did you think about the children?
Now, your wife is leaving you due to this entire situation, and no one is going to stand on your side with her choice, but being put on blast and your wife leaving you is only half of your problems.
You're losing money!! You're losing endorsements with major companies such as Gatorade. How can you lose an endorsement with Gatorade? Sure, they still want to be friends, but the fact is they dropped you.
And there are rumors that you won't be playing golf any longer. I personally don't believe this, because I'm sure (or hope) you know better. However, if that's what you're deciding to do, you better find a day job. I'm sure if you're getting a divorce, she's going to want major money. And child support is not cheap these days.
Don't quit golf because of something like this. It's what's gotten you this far. People will forget about this incident in time. Especially when (and I'm sure it will) another scandal takes place. Look at Chris Brown. He beat the crap out of Rihanna (which is a totally different story), and he's still making music. Dust yourself off, and win back America's hearts.
You're not making the situation any better by trying to keep it so quiet. Don't you know by now that the more private you try and be the more the media is going to poke at you? This was too juicy for you to try and cover up. America is going to want to know.
Now, onto the wife. She's handling this situation rather well, if you ask me. Unless she's trying to keep her cool so that the media doesn't attack her either. I'm sure the people are on her side, though. But this is where she gets me.
This is what I think happened that night (or early morning): She realized that Tiger was cheating. She questioned him. He didn't want to answer like any man wouldn't. He tried to avoid her. She wasn't having it, and attacked and beat him. She even got his golf clubs. Finally he tried to get away. He hopped into his SUV. Frantically trying to get away, he lost control and crashed into a tree. She was so upset he tried to get away that she tried to attack him once again. She busted the back window with the golf club to beat him some more. When she finally realized he was hurt she got him out and layed him on the ground. She probably said something like: "You should be lucky you're hurt right now. Otherwise, you'd be getting it."
This is not something you can try and hide, Tiger.
However, if this woman is truly beating up on him, she needs to be in jail!!
It is sexist how America works sometimes. If a man peeps through a woman's window he can be arrested as a "Peeping Tom." If a woman peeps through a man's window, after her fix she can have him arrested for indecent exposure.
If Chris Brown got so much for his deal, then she needs to answer for her crimes as well. They need to go ahead and start getting her ready for the system. Because if she's beating him, it is no different.
They may use the whole "wife in distress" act, however.
In conclusion, Tiger is straight up WRONG. Wrong for what he did on all accounts. He's ruined his, his wife's, and his children's lives. Also the police need to be doing a full investigation on this whole beating situation. It's sexist if she is not arrested.
