VH1 Should Be Sued

Well, I finally came across probably one of the most ridiculous things of my life!!

As if reality television (which happens to be a huge guilty pleasure of mine) wasn't getting out of control already.

It already feels like there's a competition/elimination show for all things these days.

America's Next Top Model and Top Chef were a few of the trendsetters, and the most tolerable I'd say.

The came the fun shows like Who Wants To Be A Superhero?

But when Ru Paul's Drag Race along with many others came along, I started to feel as if it was getting out of hand.

And let's not even start on the dating shows.

But this time it's not an elimination show.

As we all know, it's a big thing for reality television to focus on the rich and wealthy and follow them around as they simply live their lives.

It used to be that just famous people got their own show.

Now, if you have a little money in your pocket or have a pretty unusual family or lifestyle, you're prone to receiving your own show these days.

The Real Housewives started its own trend of shows.

Vh1's Basketball Wives was an answer to the Bravo show.

The show also had a sister show that followed titled, Football Wives.

Same exact concept. Different story.

But what Vh1 has done now to sort of compete with the hit Bravo franchise has gone too far this time!!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey set the mark for New Jersey in reality television, and sparked all of Jersey's sudden (pathetic) popularity to follow.
The women were Italian, tan, with east coast, Jersey accents.

It was something new.

The "Jersey Table Flip" was introduced by the classy cast member, conceived in Italy, ghetto fabulous, Ms. Teresa Giudice.

We witnessed a cast member being chased through a country club while being called a "coke whore."
She is later seen hiding around the corner while a barricade of people are holding Teresa back.

And the season 2 reunion speaks for itself.

After season 1 of the show, so many "Jersey" shows followed.

The infamous Jersey Shore.

Jerseylicious
(Jersey,  REPRESENT!!)
Jersey Couture

Reruns of True Life: I'm Going to the Jersey Shore and True Life: I'm a Staten Island Girl began playing on MTV.

It was sort of getting old and annoying.
But now it's WAY beyond that!!

Vh1 has decided to put out a new reality show, Mob Wives.

Yes, Mob Wives.

I'll let you figure out what it's about...

Can you believe it?

Who in the right mind would want to sit down and watch the daughters and wives of cold blooded murderers and gangsters run around playing with money, and smacking each other around?

Unless they're out working for charity, trying to make a good thing out of their families' names, no one wants to see them!!

No, thank you.

I can't even WATCH Jersey Shore anymore, and hell will freeze over before I ever watched any of the other shows mentioned earlier.

So, I am just simply NOT INTERESTED.

Aren't mafia members on the DL also?

Why would these women even DARE slay their families names by exposing such hideous facts about themselves on national television?

And aren't these women afraid of being KILLED????

Not to mention, Karen Gravano, daughter of infamous mafia affiliate, Salvatore Gravano aka Sammy the Bully (now incarcerated,) is on the show.

Here she is getting choked out by another trashy trick on the show.

How do victims of these ugly monsters feel about this BS?

Why should they be tortured knowing that some murderer's family is getting money and fame off of crimes that the son of a gun committed against one of theirs?

If I EVER found out that MY brother's killer's family was getting a t.v. show for what HE did, I'd be there first day of shooting to sabotage the entire production.

Breaking cameras, punching crew members, the whole shabang!!

Vh1 should be SUED.

Big time for this show.

Sued by victims, and sued by viewers forced to watch such evilness.

And by parents whose children sneak and watch the program (which it WILL happen.)

I understand that Vh1 is out to make some money, but I feel that it was definitely crossed the line this time.

I hope it gets 0 ratings.
