When Reality Stars Compare Themselves to Jesus

If any of you have seen/heard of CMT's hit show, Party Down South, the South's answer to MTV's Jersey Shore.

If you have, then you know that the show is a drunk, hot mess.

The cast of the show are a clash of personalities, including Taylor "Lil' Bit" Wright, who I'm assuming is supposed to be Party Down South's Snooki.

Taylor is very much into her Bible and the Lord above, which is quite weird for her to be on the show that she is.

However, we DO NOT judge, because no one on this earth, including the religious and spiritual folk, is pure. And we do not throw stones in glass houses.

HOWEVER, we NEED to address one issue with this Taylor Wright.

A few weeks ago, Wright announced that she will not be returning to the show for its 3rd season.

Her reasoning: she is scared for her safety.

Living with a bunch of violent Southern drunks can be a little frightening so I don't blame her one bit.

Now, I used to write the recaps of episodes of the show for TVFishBowl.com, and have been following (majority of) the cast on Twitter.

When told by a fan that they're proud of Wright for choosing Jesus over fame and fortune (which is NOT the reasoning she gave for leaving the show), Taylor replied with "Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice.....so can I! Ily"

Whether you yourself are religious or spiritual or not, you can ALL agree that if someone who believes in Jesus and what he did, HOW can they compare quitting a reality show to dying a horrible death for mankind?

She basically just compared herself to Jesus!

Maybe it IS best that she quit the show, because she apparently, she's LOSING HER MIND.

Po' thang.

 

Jersey Bore

Okay, so I know I'm way late, but I have to talk about this annoying pain in my life.

The show, Jersey Shore.

Now, I know some readers may actually like this show, but I'm sure you would agree with me on a few things.

Jersey Shore is definitely getting old.

The same people, the same drama.

I can only watch so much.

And reality television is my guilty pleasure!!

 MTV has a similar show that has been running for about 25 or 26 seasons now.

The Real World

(Real World: Hollywood)

The producers of the show also produce Oxygen's, Bad Girls Club

Both shows are pretty much the same concept as Jersey Shore.

The only difference is, I can actually tolerate them.

They're way more interesting, because, well,for one thing, they change the cast.

New cast, new drama.


Even if it's the same drama, it's different people reacting in different ways, so it's way more entertaining.


You already know who is going to be on the cast each new season of Jersey Shore.

The cast should also be more like a family unit, hell they've been living with each other on and off for years now. How much arguing can they actually do now?


It's just gonna get more petty, and more petty.


And I don't EVER like admitting when I discover that a reality show may be written or scripted (Operation Repo, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, etc.) but I'm honestly starting to feel that way on this one.


All of a sudden Mike is interested in kissing Snooki on the first episode of Season 4??


Where did THAT come from, writers for Mtv?

Bash me if you want, this is just my opinion.

I don't think I'll be tuning in for this season.
